About the book

Based on a true story

The story of Miriam and Meyer was inspired by my actual parents, Miriam and Meyer Messing. The stories told in this novel were based on the stories they told me as I grew up as a child of holocaust survivors. Their love was real as were their struggles to survive and the loss of family and friends.
